Our Mission
Fannie W. Fitzgerald's Parent Teacher Student Organization (PTSO) is a community of parents, guardians, teachers and students joined in creating a dynamic, caring, and active learning environment. We will support teachers, students and their families through Communication, Advocacy, Fundraising, and Volunteerism, with the goal of achieving a productive, enjoyable and safe school.
Our Goals for the 2013-2014 School Year
- Fund Brain Pop for the students and teachers
- Purchase the student agendas
- Host Multi-Cultural Night, Parents Night Out, dances, basketball games and other fun events
- Continue to support our teachers/staff on teacher work days.
- Purchase student-designed t-shirts for all outgoing 5th graders

Become a member of the PTSO to help us achieve our goals for the school year. We welcome new ideas and any input you may have for the benefit of our children.
Members of the PTSO receive:
Membership forms will be sent home in your child's Tuesday folder and are available at all PTSO events.

- $3000 donation to school library for new books
- Funds to purchase robotics kits and laptop for the Robotics team
- Skirts for the chorus
- Funding individual classroom projects
- Supported the teachers with field trips

- Staff Appreciation days
- Purchased student-designed t-shirts for all outgoing 5th graders
- Anti-Bully assembly and additional materials for the guidance counselor
